A Weekend In Paris

A few weeks ago we spent a lovely long weekend in Paris. The city is absolutely stunning with wonderful buildings and incredible food. The weather was really, really hot when we were there, which was glorious (but almost a bit much with all the walking around and exploring we did!)

I thought I would share a few photos and recommendations from our trip in case any of you are planning on visiting the “city of love” anytime soon, or just looking for some city break inspiration.

Places we loved…

I think my absolute favourite place about Paris was Jardin De Luxembourg: the hotel we were staying at was right next to the park and everyday we stopped by and sat by the fountains to soak up the atmosphere. It was always full of people from all walks of life chatting and enjoying the beauty of the surroundings, no matter what time of day. There are also some incredible ice cream parlours nearby such as Grom for you to stop at on your way and enjoy whilst you’re there – the lemon sorbet was a serious winner!

The Saint-Germain area was somewhere that we spent quite a bit of time in. There were always people milling about with wonderful shops, florists and restaurants around every corner. I fell a little bit in love with Café de Flore: there is such a buzz there and the food and coffee was delicious as well. It was such a great place to watch the world go by.

Little Breizh was a crêperie that we stumbled upon on our first day in Paris, and boy were we glad we did! We were feeling pretty hungry and this place just hit the spot. The variety of crêpes was incredible, from savoury to sweet, the list was endless. Mine was so big that I was defeated – not something that happens easily! I would seriously recommend this place, and as a bonus it was extremely affordable!

As always if you have any questions or want any recommendations about anything in particular just let me know. More photos can be found on my Instagram page.  x
