June Property Favourites

Blimey – I can’t believe the end of June is here and July is nearly upon us. It’s been a good month but I have some really fun things lined up over the coming weeks which I’m really excited about!

I have done property favourites for the past couple of months and it’s something I absolutely love to blog about and will continue to do. I have spent this weekend dipping in and out of the Glastonbury coverage which has inspired me to focus this month’s edition on Somerset, where the festival is held.

Pilton, Shepton Mallet

We are starting off in the village of Pilton where Glasto itself is held. I came across this fascinating detached property priced at £779,000, which is full of period fireplaces and original wood floors. It has five bedrooms, four reception rooms, an old stone greenhouse used as a summer dining room and pretty gardens with open views. Perfect for those looking for a rural setting with a passion for music and welly-wearing in muddy fields once a year, surely?! Unsurprisingly the property is already under offer!

Newbridge, Bath

My next property on this month’s list is this absolutely gorgeous four bed Victorian end of terrace house near the beautiful city of Bath at £619,950. Set over three floors, this house has been stylishly and sympathetically decorated throughout to provide several great sociable spaces for entertaining as well as sticking to its historical roots. The practical utility room and bedroom spaces means it’s also a great family home and some very lucky buyers have already secured this home!

Kennet and Avon Canal, Bath

Now you might think this is an odd location name, but I’m honestly pretty speechless about this absolutely incredible property which is built above the canal itself. The property was built by the Bathwick Estate in 1817 for the Kennet and Avon Canal Company and has now been restored to an exceptional level. ensuring the historic features have remained intact whilst adding  a contemporary twist. The kitchen, which features an Aga and solid oak cabinets, looks divine; there are marble bathrooms with big windows letting in plenty of light; and stunning views of the canal and city beyond. This property is still up for sale and could be yours but you will need to have a big budget as it is priced at £3,500,000.
